The idea of heartbreak, your vision of the future has been taken away. You are now regaining parts of yourself and in doing so, returning “h o m e.” The song is a push/pull on a journey from heartbreak to homecoming and is bathed in feelings of comfort and nostalgia.

“ I wrote this song back in June of this year, it was saying everything I felt at the time and captured it all in a bottle. The finger picking chords were what I was toying with primarily and then out popped the line “ Any beautiful vision”, I immediately got my notebook out and wrote almost the entire song down in one go. I finished writing the song the day of my single launch for ” Pull Down ” and decided to sing it impromptu on the night. It was like a release of all these feelings i’d been having in a singular moment when I performed it. After that, I realised it had to be my next release.”

” h o m e ”  is Evy’s 8th release and 3rd single of 2024, following on from the light fun of “Tonight” and the dark tones of “Pull Down”.
