New single release: Kiss Me In The Winter
A song about beginning to see something for how it is and poking fun at ignoring the red flags in someone.
A more indie pop approach from Evy, “Kiss Me In The Winter” marks Evy’s 2nd release of 2025.
The recording process for kiss me in the winter was a new and exciting one, working with Ollie Edgington on production. I wrote the main hook in late 2023 and kind of forgot about it until 2024 when I found I had a new entire meaning to the track and then with inspiration wrote it out in one go. The lyrics were inspired by my own personal experiences and wanted to have a bit of fun with them. I recorded the track at home and then at Ollies studio, it was so cool to collaborate with ollie on the production side to this track, he really brought out the fun and still kept in a live feel to the track.
